Francis Amsbaugh raised me from the age of 4 to nine in El Cajon California. Then she returned home in about 1974. I miss her so much. she was the closest to a mother I ever had. I remember she was a big red headed farm gal of about 55 or so and I remember some of her family would come and visit. Donny, baby dale, velma, little carla... I was young so some of the names may have escaped me. Her daughter in law Velma I think it was, brought me a toy bow and arrow set when she came to visit. She would always be working on arts and crafts and she was a great cook too. When I would say I wanted something we couldnt afford she would say 'I bet you can make one' and then I would be occupied all day on some project. When I was bad she would spank me on the bottom with my own hot wheel tracks, but that was only when I really had it coming. She would tell me about life on the farm back home and stories from her childhood.
God I miss her and I assume she has passed on by now. What a great lady. Can someone tell me what ever happened to her?

Hi Alyssa--it's me, Caryl! Remember PCHS, Rider, etc.? Hope all is well. Here's the quick recap of my life since then...Spent a long time in la-la and screw-up land, finally got my act together, became a Christian, paid off all my debt from time spent in la-la land, met Juan, married in Jan 2005 at 40 years old, believe it or not, got laid off, moved to NJ from PA, bought a house and will close on Dec 23rd.
